Superbloom: A climate resilience project
Superbloom is an artistic response to the wildfires in 2023 across traditional territories in Yukon and NWT. Inspired by the fireweed blooming like a river in Ethel Lake following the fire, community members created this visual art project and anthology to explore the resilience inherent in the land and in our communities.
Superbloom was conceptualized by Nicole Schafenacker and Krystle Silverfox, created by many hands across Yukon and NWT, and made possible with support from the Dechinta Centre, the Yukon Arts Fund and CPAWS Yukon.
