Our Galleries

The Yukon Arts Centre Public Gallery, open year-round, features up to 10 exhibitions annually, often with two or three concurrent shows. The gallery explores contemporary art from local to international perspectives, with a focus on the North. It showcases Yukon artists and hosts exhibitions of national importance.

The gallery, on one level, spans 4200 square feet with 370 feet of running wall, divided into areas by semi-permanent partitions. View gallery floorplan.

Having a Category A designation since June 1, 1998, it has full climate control and LED lighting for display and conservation.

Exhibitions change every three months, planned two years in advance. Artists interested in contributing are welcome to connect with the curator or submit proposals via email to mary.bradhsaw@yac.ca. Our approach is inclusive and collaborative, aligning with the YAC’s mission and vision.

The ATCO Electric Yukon Youth and Yukon Energy Community Galleries showcase emerging and established Yukon artists exclusively and change over monthly.
