Since 1992, the arts centre has awakened, challenged and transformed artists, participants and audiences with meaningful and inclusive events and exhibitions — all designed to let art in. The Yukon Arts Centre houses the organization’s administrative offices, the Main Theatre, the Public, Yukon Energy Community, and ATCO Electric Yukon Art Galleries, including the Studio Theatre. The Yukon Arts Centre also runs the historic Old Fire Hall in downtown Whitehorse. Use the buttons below to find information on the building you’re planning on visiting.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased 24/7 online at yukontickets.com or via phone at 867-667-8574 (service charges may apply). Tickets can also be purchased by visiting our Box Office Monday–Friday from 1 pm–4 pm.
Ticket Exchanges
Can’t make a show? Some tickets are eligible for exchange or refund. Call 867-667-8574 or email the Box Office at boxoffice@yac.ca for more information.
YAC offers a limited amount of discounted $10 rush tickets on the morning of the day of the performance.
Parking & Accessibility
- Free parking is available in the lot across from the YAC’s front entrance.
The YAC is committed to providing access to all visitors with exceptional guest care, physical and program accommodations, and is a leader in accessibility and inclusion.
Located at street level are the Main Lobby, Orchestra Entrance and accessible washrooms. The corner entrance has automatic doors as well as the main gallery doors and the accessibility washroom.
- Seating for (10) wheelchairs or other mobility issues – movable/removable seats are available in row KA of the Orchestra level. Booking for row KA is not available online, but by phone, or in person at the Box Office.
- Hearing assist devices are available upon request.
- The Balcony Section is up two flights of stairs and has no elevator access.
A downtown cultural hub, the Old Fire Hall hosts events, performances, exhibitions, town halls, lectures and workshops for groups of all sizes. This 100-capacity heritage building is available to rent for weddings, meetings, and performances.

- Metered parking is available on Front and Main Streets – Free after 6 pm and Sundays.
- Free parking available in the lots on Front Street near the Waterfront Roundhouse.
- Free wheelchair parking is available on Front Street (opposite side of the Old Fire Hall) and on Main Street.
- The Old Fire Hall is a wheelchair accessible building.
