From ballads to blazing bebop to spirituals, NBD will provide a smattering of their favourite jazz tunes largely focused in the 1950s and 60s from the legendary saxophone/bass duets of John Coltrane and Paul Chambers.
3rd The jazz jam closes out the evening introducing yet more jazz ’n blues ’n improvisational musicians including instrumentalists and vocalists performing in various configurations with members of the featured ensemble.
