Artist Statement:
My inspiration for my art works start with something that catches my eye. I like a variety of form, colour and detail.
Sometimes a simple suggestion from someone will inspire me.
Colour is my passion! Using oil, acrylics and coloured art pencils is my choice of medium but I have used charcoal in a few pieces of my work. I like to do my art on canvas, sketchbook paper and even solid objects like wood.
I very often gift my art in the form of cards on special occasions to friends and family.
I do a variety of themes but do have fun incorporating humour in some of my work. My art is my expression of my creativity. Art is a form of relaxation as well. I am rarely found without my sketchbook.
