Free art workshop with Ernest Chua co-hosted by Teegatha’Oh Zheh Progressive Art Studio. In conjuction with the exhibit Without Saying featuring Ernest Chua and Colin Dorward
Art is Ernest’s main communication method, as he mostly communicates non-verbally. Ernest will co-facilitate a workshop with a TOZ Studio assistant, designed to emulate his method of silent creation. Workshop participants will be given supplies, instructed to be silent for a specific period of time. They will be given the opportunity to create using Ernest’s method. Ernest will be demonstrating his painting process in front of the group.
The workshop will include a reflective dialogue between participants at the end, to talk about how it felt to enter in Ernest’s world, and to offer reflections that come up. Materials are provided.
