Stories on Wheels Storytelling 2:00-2:30 and 3:00-3:30 in community gallery. Leanard Stanger STORIES on WHEELS is an original street theatre storytelling act for the whole family. Tales are brought to life by a high-energy comic performer, using beautifully illustrated picture cards displayed in a magnificent miniature wooden stage (Japanese form of storytelling called Kamishiba)

Join Dr. Kate Lawless for Soil Storytime in the Main Gallery as families explore the hidden world beneath our feet through storytelling, hands-on soil investigation, and simple experiments. Inspired by the exhibition (re)mediating soils: Storied Soils, children will become “soil detectives,” using jeweller’s loupes to look closely at different soils, textures, colours, and the tiny stories held within them.
