Camp Engies is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led camp, created by women in engineering for our future women in engineering. The camp aims at inspiring girls to take an interest in engineering through hands-on activities and fun.
Camp Engies hopes to increase the percentage of women in engineering in Canada by:
• Educating campers in a unique atmosphere for a highly subsidized fee.
• Providing an environment free of gender bias to engage with various engineering role-models and in engineering activities.
• Introducing our campers to life-long engineering mentors and allies.
The camp will be in Whitehorse at the Old Fire Hall July 23 & 24.
