YUKON ARTS CENTRE

The Yukon Arts Centre houses the organization's administrative offices, the Main Theatre, the Public, Yukon Energy Community, and ATCO Electric Yukon Art Galleries, including the Studio Theatre.

  • Refer to an event’s description, if there is a savings deal on a show it may be listed there

PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY

  • Free parking in the lot across from the YAC’s front entrance

The YAC is committed to providing access to all visitors with exceptional guest care, physical and program accommodations, and is a leader in accessibility and inclusion.
A downtown cultural hub, the Old Fire Hall hosts events, performances, exhibitions, town halls, lectures and workshops for groups of all sizes. This flexible downtown venue is also available for rent.

  • Located at street level are the Main Lobby, Orchestra Entrance and accessible washrooms
  • Seating for (10) wheelchairs or other mobility issues - movable/removable seats are available in row KA of the Orchestra level. Booking for row KA is available, online, on the phone, or at the Box Office
  • Hearing assist devices are available upon request
  • The Balcony Section is up two flights of stairs and has no elevator access

THE OLD FIRE HALL

What once housed Whitehorse’s emergency services, is now home to a downtown multi-use space, where some of the best works of Yukon art is developed. This 100 capacity heritage building is available to rent for wedding, meetings, and performances. More rental information here.

  • Metered parking is available on Front and Main Streets - Free after 6:00 & Sundays
  • Free parking available in the lots on Front Street near the Waterfront Roundhouse
  • Free Wheelchair parking available on Front Street (opposite side of the Old Fire Hall), and on Main St.
  • The Old Fire Hall is a wheelchair accessible building
