Youth Exhibit: Two Great Horse Riders Doing a Great Deed

  • On now

Imogene Dali Rose Gignac-Keevil (b. 2015) was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. Growing up in a family of artists, Imogene has always been encouraged and supported in her artistic endeavours. Imogene finds much of her inspiration in the wilds, sketching on hikes and during her travels. She likes to use found materials, like charcoal gathered in forest fires to create drawings, and is keen to experiment with various mediums.

Imogene’s work reflects the world around her and the world she imagines, often melding the two in a surprising synergy. She creates with abandon and precision, losing herself in the work for hours.

Imogene hopes to keep creating and expanding her practise using new and unexpected materials and branching into new worlds through her work.

See Imogene’s work in the ATCO Electric Yukon Youth Gallery.
