The Heart of Riverdale brings you Art From the Heart, Presented by The Co-operators, August and Associates. This year’s Art From the Heart is made-up of four different performances:
Alien Unknown (an original piece by our Pre Professionals, including Beat Street 3, 4, 5)
Sleeping Beauty (all Ballet)
Give a Dog a Donut (Recreational and After School Crews 1&2 levels)
Mary Poppins Jr (Musical Theatre and Classical Squad 3, 4, 5).

Mary Poppins
The Heart of Riverdale’s musical theatre class has been working all year to prepare Mary Poppins Jr. for you. Under the direction of Artistic Director Michelle FisherMayr, this story remains as magical and whimsical as it was when originally released in 1964.
Jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”
