WORKSHOP 1

N3/Yukon Arts Centre is pleased to offer a series of workshops over 3 days in Dawson City and Whitehorse in early January.

January 5th – Digital Literacy Workshop #1  3pm – 5pm

Whitehorse:

Digital Literacy Workshops

Yukon is taking part in a national project, Making Tomorrow Better: Taking Action in the Digital World. This initiative brings practical digital know-how to participants through custom workshops, online how-to tutorials and ongoing information-sharing. You will learn how to assess your real digital footprint and how to use digital tools and methods to best effect. For attendees travelling to Whitehorse from Watson Lake, Teslin, Carcross, Carmacks and Pelly Crossing there is a limited travel and accommodation subsidy. For more info contact michele.emslie@yac.ca.

 

WORKSHOP 2

Maintaining Respectful Workplaces in the Arts

Canada Council and Cultural Human Resources Council has engaged professional HR experts from different disciplines to develop and deliver workshops on Maintaining Respectful Workplaces. Since the trainers come from different parts of the country and the sector, they bring specific expertise and knowledge to these offerings.

The workshops will be 3 hours in length and adapted to the audience, whether they be employers, workers, artists or a mixed group of 12 – 24 participants.
