Moppets to invade Whitehorse

The Yukon Arts Centre is holding its first kids festival on May 18, called the Midnight Sun Moppets Children's Festival.
This is a free family event for children of all sizes and ages. Many fun activities such as cardboard castle building, children's performers, storytelling and arts & crafts will be held at the Old Fire Hall and the MacBride Museum from 10 AM - 4 PM, followed by a family dance from 7 PM - 9PM.

MACBRIDE MUSEUM LOBBY:
10AM –11AM – Anne Glover Storytelling Performance
11AM - 12PM - Anne Glover string workshop
1PM – 4PM – 3 Kids Kreate art stations with Yukon artists Montana Prysnuk, Helen O’Connor, and Maya Rosenberg
OLD FIRE HALL:
10AM- 11AM – Remy Rodden with Peter Puffin (performance for little children)
12PM- 1PM- Performance from the MAD students of Wood Street Centre
1PM- 2PM – Paris Pick
2PM- 3PM – Remy Rodden with Peter Puffin (performance for bigger children)
3PM – 4PM – Claire Ness
7PM – 9PM - Family Dance with Major Funk and the Employment. ($5.00 at the door)
10AM- 4PM – Help make a cardboard castle with Michel Gignac on Front Street at Old Fire Hall
