Working predominantly with watercolour, and also acrylic paint, coloured markers and coloured pencils, Aurora Bagnell-Craig enjoys creating, using vibrant colours, paintings that portray themes of nature and various depictions of the heart. 

Aurora is a born and raised  Yukoner !!

She is in grade 10 at St. Francis of Assissi school, where she was on student council,  achieved a Principal’s award, and now is in the Music, Arts & Drama (MAD) program. 

She has attended a summer art course with Emily Carr University Summer Camp,  and a March break art course in Dawson City, with Klondike Institute of Art & Culture. 

With the largest framed item in this show, the poster celebrating that “we are all human." 

Aurora won 2nd place in Kairos’ Canada-wide art contest. 

In addition to painting, Aurora really enjoys baking, and another art form -  ballet, performing in the Nutcracker seven times.
