The Yukon Arts Centre Public Gallery brings learning to life by deepening young people’s understanding of their environment, history, and culture thus impacting their own personal development. We aim to nurture the next generation of artists by introducing tools to foster visual literacy, encouraging students to find pleasure and meaning in art and to think critically about the array of visual images that surround them.

YAC Public Art Gallery encourages students to find pleasure in art and to think critically about the images that surround them. Tours are available to schools, community, and youth groups.
The Youth Gallery Displays the work of young artists throughout the Yukon.
The Community Gallery is located in the foyer of the Yukon Arts Centre and allows local artists to showcase their works in an informal setting while enjoying high-visibility exposure. The space is increasingly popular, and artists are advised to contact us early on with their upcoming projects.

The Yukon Arts Centre works closely with community arts organizations, groups and artists for the development of the arts and of a cultural economy in the Yukon.
The Yukon Arts Centre also administers Culture Quest, an art creation and funding program funded by Yukon Tourism and Culture, the Cultural Industry Training Fund, and offers artist residency opportunities.
