Do you have a story to tell? Are you a fantastic proof-reader? Do you want to have a great time celebrating Yukon First Nations? Anyone and everyone is invited to drop-in at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre on April 28th, from 10am-3pm to help Indigenize Wikipedia.

The goal is to fill the void and add information about significant Yukon First Nations people and accomplishments. All the tools you may need will be ready for you; paper and pens to write out ideas, computers to edit pages, cheat sheets and ideas for what to write, and great food to enjoy!

Indigenize Wikipedia is presented by the Yukon Arts Centre in partnership with the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre. This event is one of the two hundred exceptional projects funded through the Canada Council for the Arts’ New Chapter program. With this $35M investment, the Council supports the creation and sharing of the arts in communities across Canada. Special thanks to the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in Heritage Department, as a supportive partner. This event is a part of the CONVERSATIONS project.
