Chill out with Yukon’s massive ice-age mammals. Featuring dozens of real fossils, touchable casts and specimens along with really cool interactives, this exhibition has been seen by millions across North America! The Yukon Arts Centre is one of the few places in the territory that can host an exhibition of this scale and since 90% of the specimens are from the Yukon we are pleased to partner with Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre to bring this exhibition home.
Using almost 200 wall tiles, Tagish-based sculptor Sandra Grace Storey will bring a herd of caribou into the gallery. Sculpted in high and low relief, Storey’s installation will immerse the viewer within a moment of a myth where caribou, raven and children intermingle.
