Huff is a one-man tour-de-force written and performed by Cliff Cardinal, an award-winning Aboriginal writer, actor and musician. Huff follows the lives of Wind and his brothers, who are struggling to cope with their mother’s suicide. The central voice belongs to Wind, whose life is a mix of gas-induced hallucinations that bleed into his reality. Wind is constantly preyed on by the “trickster” in his home, the school hallways and the abandoned motel he loves so dearly. Video games and trickster collide and Huff conjures a heartbreaking yet hopeful search for love. Cardinal weaves a tale filled with abusive domestic history, solvent abuse and dark humour. Huff is an unforgettable experience that is not to be missed.

“It reaches inside and grabs you so hard that you forget it's make believe. It makes you rethink what you thought you knew. It leaves you transformed.” - CBC (Chandra Mayor)
