Come hear a fascinating artist talk by Yukon First Nation Artist Teresa Vander Meer-Chasse and Nicole Bauberger at Jenni House (located at the Fireweed Market site).

In 2018, artists, Nicole Bauberger and Teresa Vander Meer-Chasse received a Creating, Knowing, and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis Peoples program grant from Canada Council for the Arts.

Nicole and Teresa have proposed to collect tire remnants on the side of the Alaska Highway in order to create Ravens and raven-inspired sculptural works. They also intend to visit communities and collect stories people are willing to share of Raven.

This talk is associated with work being done through the Jenni House Artist Residency
