Administrative & Accounting Assistant

Term Position for 12 months, 20 hours per week
Starting wage:  $15,99/hour increasing to $16.81/hour following six month probation period  (plus $0.72 per hour for health benefits)

This is a new and evolving position that will provide administrative support to the Accounts Coordinator, the Director of Marketing and Development, and the CEO.

Responsibilities will include:
• assisting with the cultivation of gallery and theatre sponsors and donors,
•  processing accounts receivable and payable
• assisting with grant preparation and reporting
• records management

Requirements:
• a solid understanding of computer technologies and a willingness to learn new software,
• highschool  graduation or better
• enrollment in, or completion of an arts or business administration certificate or degree programme or other relevant post secondary education
• precise and detailed oriented
• excellent communication skills

It would be useful, but not necessary, to have experience with the Adagio accounting software or Theatre Manager box office software.
