Eliza Gilkyson is undisputably one of those. She rose from the 70s folk scene to make a name for herself in the finest songwriting circles, and her latest creation is universally hailed as her crowning masterpiece. She comes to us from Austin, Texas, the hotbed for some of the greatest roots music on this continent.
